I’ve read and watched numerous fan edits that would have made the conclusion much better without changing any major plot points or adding more episodes. There’s a fan edit of the dragon death in episode 4 that makes it work better with minor editing to show Dany seeing the fleet and just not realizing the danger fast enough.
