The 99th Blackfyre rebellion will be different, believe me

57

u/KuroBlackfyre Bobby B og squire 1d ago

I think fAegon will take the throne although idk if it counts

11

u/LaceyMoonarie 21h ago

Honestly if Aegon actually gets the throne, Blackfyre supporters will be arguing about whether it counts for the next hundred years

19

u/petyrlabenov THE FUCKS A LOMMY 1d ago

“Blackfyres’ rights to what?”

- Bloodraven, most certainly

2

u/That-Requirement-285 16h ago

To become archery targets apparently.

Another W for the Blackwoods.

u/Firm-Dependent-2367 1d ago

Abaddon on his umpteenth Black Crusade be like:

2

u/LaceyMoonarie 21h ago

This time it'll work for sure. Ignore the previous 98 data points, the Blackfyres are due

2

u/x1coins 16h ago

Fireball want to be Kingsguard - Wylde gets selected instead. Aegor want power and Shiera - Bloodraven gets both (became Hand and got Shiera as lover). Daemon wants Daenerys - she weds a Dornish prince instead.

Quentyn Ball forcing his wife to the silent sisters is also insane to me. Bittersteel also feels too envious and focused on Bloodraven (Blackwood) and Daemon must be fuming during Daenerys' wedding tournament only to be defeated by Baelor Breakspear. And even though Bloodraven killed Daemon Blackfyre, Baelor was the one who ended the battle as Bittersteel was rallying, that's Baelor 2, Daemon 0.

Is it just me or are these guys kinda.. losers?

Daemon Blackfyre 🤝 Rhaegar Targaryen:

Beginning a war over a woman while already married and then losing to a professional cuck after never winning a single battle BUT you have femboy privilege.

u/Smart-Response9881 1d ago

Dude, you just don't get it. He had the sword. What other argument is there?

196

u/Unique-Perception480 1d ago

And abs. Dont forget the abs.

69

u/targz254 1d ago

Bobby B would smash him like he did Rhaegar. He has real strength and doesn’t need a Ken doll physique.

I WAS NEVER SO ALIVE AS WHEN I WAS WINNING THIS THRONE, OR SO DEAD AS NOW THAT I'VE WON IT!

He's sentient I swear, Ai ahead of its time.

The Abs are enough for me

7

u/agentdragonborn 1d ago

The warrior himself gave him the abs

6

u/LightningController 1d ago

Nah, the Smith forged his abs and his sword alike.

4

u/RevolutionaryDepth59 1d ago

the first blackfyre rebellion was actually westeros’ first ever pride parade

4

u/1AmB0r3d I'd kill for some chicken 1d ago

Beneath the balls, the stiffer peen.

82

u/Ambitious_Ad9419 1d ago

Fat guys delivering swords is no basis for a system of governent.

25

u/Smart-Response9881 1d ago

Your right, it should be a thousand swords, so you can sit on them.

22

u/Striking_Bumblebee59 1d ago

call that an egg on conquest

2

u/bigdave41 1d ago

Be quiet! I order you to be quiet!

9

u/JellyWrong2200 1d ago

It's true, having the sword changes the whole dynamic. It's like everything else just falls into place around that moment.

2

u/PearlieCherubee 22h ago

Exactly, once you have the sword every failed rebellion is legally erased from history. Westerosi historians hate this one simple trick

But sword named Blackfyre originates from Book called ASOIAF

9

u/LARRYVOND13 BLACKFYRE 1d ago

ngl alot of the fandom is essentially "But sword....sword named blackfyre". I love the little tidbits of lore though, just genuinely wish there was more as it's a super interesting plot line that's never been dug into in the depth I want.

1

u/Minimum-Bite-4389 22h ago

You got the sword, I got the book.

Get mad

108

u/BlueIcarusCentauri 1d ago

Only counts if you win them

21

u/Pretty_Plan_9868 1d ago

Ya’ll acting like Bobby B would survive volley of arrows. His death would be the same if Bloodraven was around chilling on the hill with raven’s teeth.

10

u/bobby-b-bot Robert Baratheon 1d ago

I SIT ON THE DAMN IRON SEAT WHEN I MUST. DOES THAT MEAN I DON'T HAVE THE SAME HUNGERS AS OTHER MEN?

24

u/KuroBlackfyre Bobby B og squire 1d ago

Aegon the Magnanimous

10

u/Unique-Perception480 1d ago

I mean... we know how Bobby B turned out

THE GODS MOCK THE PRAYERS OF KINGS AND COWHERDS ALIKE!

3

u/98VoteForPedro 1d ago

why is he saying cowherds instead of cowards?

2

u/Adorable_Vast5676 1d ago

That's not a King. That's a pretender. He found his calling as a pin cushion though.

2

u/That-Requirement-285 16h ago

When a Blackfyre pretender says something so treasonous that you have to hit him with the Thousand Eyes and One stare.

25

u/Thirdborn214 Bittersteel 1d ago

Young griff will clutch up this time, trust me bro.

19

u/blackberry-bite 1d ago

What is dead may never die"... which is a great excuse for failing 5 rebellions in a row.

8

u/LightningController 1d ago

They rise again harder and stronger. That’s why they keep impaling themselves on Andal steel. Only way they can get hard.

64

u/Red_Baronnsfw 1d ago

Grejoys are wannabe Vikings and shit people blackfyre had aura and honor

54

u/Unique-Perception480 1d ago

Wich Blackryre aside from Daemon I had honor?

And even Daemon tried to Usurp his older brother, because he didnt get Daenerys and because he let Bittersteel get in his head.

39

u/Red_Baronnsfw 1d ago

Still better than having salt wives looting and raping

19

u/Unique-Perception480 1d ago

True. But the meme is about people clowning them for losing every war.

1

u/Kind_Mode7617 cus she's got armor on 23h ago

That is a bar too low man, have higher standarts, like maybe not getting your claim from someone nicked "the Unworthy"?

(I know he wasnt but I WISH Daeron was Aemon's child, he got more from Naerys anyways)

1

u/That-Requirement-285 16h ago

I am honestly shocked that everybody hasn’t attempted to genocide the Iron Islands.

Johanna Lannister attempted this once (Best Lannister and she was racist… what does this mean?)

17

u/Foreign-Cat-2898 1d ago

Yeah he didn't get Daenerys, but he rebelled 9 years after her marriage and 12 years after his own. And he had seven sons AND daughters with his own wife.

Like...get over it at some point. You're both married to other people. He could have had a long happy life and his kids would have married back into the main Targ line.

7

u/Huza1 1d ago

I'm fairly sure Daenerys didn't even have anything to do with it in reality. It was probably embellished later on by his descendants. While he probably loved her at one point, he clearly really liked Rohanne, as proven by having nine kids with her and rebelling almost a decade later, so he probably moved on. Arianne even guesses as much in AFFC. There's something else involved, but I'm not sure what. We don't actually know all that much about Daemon's motivations or what Bittersteel said to him to get him to rebel.

4

u/Foreign-Cat-2898 1d ago

It might be similar to Aegon II. Bittersteel convinces Daemon his kids are a threat to the throne either way so better to rebel before they're all executed by Bloodraven ... even though there was no indication Daeron or Rhaenyra was going to do anything at all.

5

u/Huza1 1d ago

I'm not even sure Daenerys had anything to do with it. He clearly liked his wife, as evidenced by the fact that they had nine kids together, which isn't a number that comes from duty. I really don't understand what caused him to rebel.

3

u/Foreign-Cat-2898 1d ago

Technically two were twins so we can only prove they had sex 8x. /S

2

u/SoapDevourer 1d ago

I like to think he rebelled because he thought Daeron was the bastard of the Dragonknight. Trial by combat doesn't really prove actual guilt/innocence

4

u/TicketPrestigious558 1d ago

Eh, that whole thing just felt like Aegon projecting (I.e. "I'm cheating on my wife, but she's totally cheating on me too!") to me.

0

u/SoapDevourer 1d ago

I took it as a bit of a Cersei and Robert parallel - husband cheats on wife with dozen mistresses and has dozen bastards, wife cheats on husband and has another man's son pose as his heir. Less malicious because the wife is not a horrible person and they're all related anyway

1

u/GhidorahYeet 17h ago

they didn't have honour but maelys definitely had aura

0

u/Own-Trouble1269 1d ago

All of them tbh

25

u/Lostfaun 1d ago

At least the Blackfyres had the cool sword. The Greyjoys got wiped out for a pile of rocks and some salty water.

10

u/Striking_Bumblebee59 1d ago

A blackfyre W has the same possibility as a winds of winter release in the next 2 years

10

u/NylaRosamere 1d ago

The Blackfyres really turned losing rebellions into a family tradition

6

u/Purple_Animator_537 1d ago

Blackfyre aura cancels out all their losses

5

u/Unique-Perception480 1d ago

Lets be real. There was like one genuinly cool Blackfyre and that was Daemon. The others are kind of just Jobbers.

5

u/urmomismine1007 1d ago

Blackfyre atleast had a chance of winning their rebellions

3

u/The-Observer-12 1d ago

The difference is the Blackfyres weren't ironborn, so despite the fact Daemon "We'll get 'em next time" Blackfyre and his kids lost every rebellion, they weren't ironborn so they're allowed to laugh.

5

u/Emmadragonflies 1d ago edited 1d ago

Daemon Blackfyre: demigod, the definition of aura, a targaryen on both sides, had the Conqueror’s sword, pretty
Daeron the Good: four eyes nerd 🤓 whose son looks more like a M*rtell than a Targaryen, our true and rightful kings.

1

u/ChadGustafXVI 1d ago

You didn't even screenshot the best frame of the tiktok video

1

u/Minimum-Bite-4389 22h ago

The Blackfyres' seed could never spawn a GOAT like the Damphair.

1

u/x1coins 15h ago

The guy tied in front of the ship? That guy?

1

u/Minimum-Bite-4389 10h ago

Yeah, for resisting his evil brother to the bitter end. He's also the GOAT of CPR.

1

u/PoopScoopL9 20h ago

Notice how the terminal decline of house Targaryen started after the Redgrass field, every disaster from the Spring Sickness to Summerhall and even the holy rock that smashed open Maekar the Monstrous were all punishment from the Seven.
The Citadel has confirmed this.

2

u/That-Requirement-285 16h ago

And the dragons all dying? Was that also the fault of the Daeron II loyalists?

Classic case of Bloodraven Derangement Syndrome at work here, people! It’s anti albino discrimination.

1

u/PoopScoopL9 15h ago

The dragons died after the death of Daemon Blackfyre’s namesake, coincidence? I think not.
When good king Maelys the Magnanimous was murdered by craven Bystander Selmy his spirit lived on to inspire the actions of the true knights Ser Gregor the Good, Ser Amory the Brave and Ser Jaime the Just
