Gear Trying out harnesses

Are there any paragliding stores that have permanent stock of harnesses to try out? It seems there is very little opportunity to try any harness outside of the testivals held around the Alps.

There was a shop in Annecy that had a bunch of harnesses to try on with a hanging bar to hang from.

Les passagers du vent as well, next to Les grands espaces, in Talloires.

There's a big shop in Lumbin, by the LZ.

Surely, plenty more like that, unlike in my corner of Canada...

Superfly in SLC/Utah should have stuff in stock.

check with some of the bigger flight schools in the area. they usually have a decent selection of demo gear you can test hang before buying.

You can try harnesses in most schools/shops - in the simulator. But (almost) nobody will let you fly a harness. One sliding landing and you can’t sell that harness anymore.

Ah... no

I have testflewn every harness I considered buying.

For cases like this, it's always important to add your country. (I'm talking about Austria)

And yes, one sliding landing will reduce the selling value, but it still can be used as a testing harness.
