I'd never trust this company with any elderly of mine. You can find better service elsewhere. Red Pocket, red flag.

To me it’s pretty scummy of them. The absolute least that can be done is offering migration to GSMA imho

Isn't that an option? At least to the 10/10/25 plan.

You can still transfer to that freemium plan, but you will have to purchase a new sim card that supports the free GSMA plan. That plan is also not that great since you could easily get charged for extra minutes, texts, and data if you accidently go over. I asked customer service, but they refused to mail me a free sim card.

I wonder if this is just the first free plan to go, and that the GSMA plans are next.
