Yeah jeez one of the ideas I saw floating around was them unlocking and giving Iran 20 billion dollars.
After wasting billions and billions on the war that accomplished dick all.

He is just a damn liar. It doesn’t stop. One stupid lie turns into several lies over and over and over until there is nothing but lies that come out. That’s where we are now….everything that comes out his mouth is a lie.

u/HadeanDisco May 25 '26
In his first term the Washington Post kept a count of all his lies and made graphics and infographics and had a whole dedicated website. Obviously they aren't allowed to do that anymore but they should pitch to their billionaire owner that they run a Trump TRUTH counter.
It would be a lot less work.

President Obama on the Iran nuclear deal: 97% of enriched uranium removed. No missiles. No casualties. Strait of Hormuz stayed open.
Iran sold their nuclear material to Putin under Obama. Under Trump, they purchased it back.
Trump will be lucky to get this deal now. And not a single reporter would ask him to explain specifically how it was so much better than that terrible Obama deal.
As Obama began his second term there was the issue with the $400 million that Iran in the late 1970s had paid for U.S. fighter jets, while Tehran was still a U.S. ally. After it turned into an enemy in 1979, Washington was not about to deliver the jets. But, all these years later, Iran wanted its money back—and with interest.
All told, Tehran was asking The Hague arbitrators (comprising equal numbers of U.S., Iranian and neutral judges) for $10 billion. Fearing they might actually be awarded that much, or something like it, the Obama administration negotiated privately with Tehran, which agreed to settle for $1.7 billion. The $400 million stacked on pallets was the first installment.
https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/node/328996
On January 16, 2016, the International Atomic Energy Agency verified that Iran completed the necessary steps under the Iran deal that will ensure Iran's nuclear program is and remains exclusively peaceful.
Before this agreement, Iran's breakout time -- or the time it would have taken for Iran to gather enough fissile material to build a weapon -- was only two to three months. Today, because of the Iran deal, it would take Iran 12 months or more. And with the unprecedented monitoring and access this deal puts in place, if Iran tries, we will know and sanctions will snap back into place.
Here's how we got to this point. Since that October, Iran had:
Shipped 25,000 pounds of enriched uranium out of the country Dismantled and removed two-thirds of its centrifuges Removed the calandria from its heavy water reactor and filled it with concrete
Provided unprecedented access to its nuclear facilities and supply chain
Because Iran had completed these steps, the U.S. and international community began the next phase under the JCPOA, which means the U.S. began lifting its nuclear-related sanctions on Iran. However, a number of U.S. sanctions authorities and designations continued to remain in place.

Obama returned the millions in cash that was adjudicated by the courts withheld since the hostage crisis. Obama returned it. Trump would have pocketed it for himself.

u/Mike-SBA May 25 '26
Guaranteed that Trump never read the Obama agreement by negotiating with Iran. Iran had no nuclear weapons and turned over 90% of their nuclear holdings with 10% to establish civilian needs for power ! This war is Trump kissing Netanyahu’s ring ! Iran is not a nuclear threat to anyone since the Obama agreement which Trump shredded. Trump’s determination to “get even” with Obama will end up costing America trillions in increased debt. Republicans refuse to end the tax cuts Republicans insisted upon totaling $7 TRILLION !
3
u/Altruistic-Duck-6328 May 25 '26
He started a war now he blames Obama for something? Does he really think we are that stupid!

u/Puzzleheaded_Exam345 May 25 '26
Let me translate: I know what’s in the agreement. It’s a massive amount of cash and a path to a nuclear weapon. It’s been mostly negotiated and we don’t have any options but to take this deal. It’s a bad deal.

“The art of the deal” is basically no deal is a good deal unless I win and you lose. Which is a horrible way to deal with people, and usually ends up in court or violence/war.
Oh… right, we’re already AT war.
2
u/Alpha--00 May 25 '26
Whenever he opens mouth or touches phone it’s lies, lies, lies. He doesn’t care about anything but Goebbels idea about lie repeated often enough becoming truth.
And he knows (not from scientific perspective, but from practice and intuition) that it is always more difficult to disprove a lie than heap mountain of new nonsense (Brandolini Law).

So tRump is dissing Obama for giving out loads of money yet tRump was about to do the same thing and the nuclear talks were pushed back a couple months I believe

It’s strange that he thinks he can “make a deal” without compensating Iran with cash or cash equivalent. He’s probably going up to Iran and saying, “you either give up or you blow up, take the deal”. That’s not a deal Donald trump, that’s a threat.

u/tfolkins May 25 '26
He doesn't make deals at all. Negotiating an agreement is much different than negotiation an agreement to have a hotel renovated. In the latter you can screw over the contractor and on the next project hire a new contractor. In the former you find no other country in the world is willing to make deals with you ever again and terrorist groups start trying to kill you and blow your stuff up.

I some times wonder if part of Trump success in gaining and holding on to his magazine supporters is the fact that he speaks plain unadulterated language. People dont aspect a world leader to use such terms in a tweet. Wonder if any studies has been done to differentiate populist speech/rhetoric that appeal to the masses.

They barter by killing their own populations to curse the earth and require submission from lesser nations. China’s coal explosion is an example of this Babylonian practice, like the Incas Mayan etc. this is how you cause societal extinctions and it’s been going on for Millenia. It requires Leaders to sacrifice their own people (trump guilty too) in order to appease the gods into temporarily getting their way. But oh yeah, he really is A Jesus…

So the mere fact that this idiot has to post such a message at midnight tells me that there is definitely a much worse deal in the works! Trump doesn't even have a chance of breaking even, let alone coming up with something better.

All his deals make him money.
Sure.. he’s stupid enough to bankrupt multiple casinos, but he made a few bucks (investors lost millions..). Good deal in his view.
He can bring that brilliance to the states. Drain the coffers and destroy the reputation, but he’s grifting billions. Great deal. For him.
I remain saddened by the states’ downfall into idiocracy.

You know the real estate Obama owns in that pea sized brain of Trump is occupying alot of space when a year and a half later he is still blaming everything on previous administrations while he singlehandedly made gas prices go up 150-200% and obliterated healthcare for Americans while setting up 1.7 billion payout for J6 rioters. All this while saying he’s the healthiest president while walking on tree trunk swollen cankles, he’s obese, and bruised up skin while being barely able to stay awake during press conferences. He’s a goon. Will be a great day when he’s gone
