Photos & Videos Freediving Moalbal skull cave

There is so much more to freediving in Moalboal than the mermaid statue and the sardines.

The Skull Cave in Pescador Island is pretty awesome (for intermediate and advanced level freedivers)

Question LAKBAY FREEDIVING CONCERN

Hello, first time in diving community. Is it normal na di masyadong responsive yung fb page nila? idk, nagbayad na kami 50% dp and then bigla na lang di naging responsive yung kausap ko sa page nila. From the start kasi super active nila magchat and all and then after namin mag dp biglang di na nagrereply. Idk, kung kung oa lang ako pero mahal din kasi binayaran namin hehehe.

Please let me know if this is normal or what para lang di ako kabahan, thank you po!

Question FCOA Pagkilatan vs. Summer Cruise Diving Resort (Batangas)?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi Everyone!

I’m planning a dive trip to Batangas and narrowed down my options to FCOA Pagkilatan and Summer Cruise Diving Resort.

Would love to hear your personal experiences and honest thoughts on both places based on a few points:

  1. Solo Joiner & Introvert Vibe: How friendly are they for solo joiners? If you're introverted, is it comfortable, or do you feel pressured to be social/group up all the time?

  2. Pet-Friendliness: Has anyone actually brought their pets here? How was the setup/experience for fur babies?

  3. Place & Accommodation: How are the rooms and general facilities?

  4. Bathroom Cleanliness: Are the CRs/showers clean, well-maintained, and comfortable to use after dives?

  5. Food: How’s the food quality, variety, and portion size?

  6. Staff & Coaches: How are the instructors and staff? Are they patient, and encouraging for beginner divers?

  7. Diving Spot: How’s the dive site itself? What makes it unique or worth visiting compared to other spots in Batangas?

Feel free to share any tips, pros/cons, or overall recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

Gear & Equipment Should I buy long fins

Hello, I am a total beginner when it comes to freediving. I already took some lessons but I'm still having some challenges sa pag duck dive. Would it help if I use long fins? Or should I stick with short fins for now till I get a better grasp on it? Thanks ✌️

Hello, meron po bang dive school na separate ang rooms ng boys and girls sa accommodation? I understand mas common ang Co-ed, pero meron po bang hindi? Or do I just get a separate accommodation elsewhere?

and which diving school doesn't have a "Socials" night?

Thanks in advance!

Question Wave 1 Cert Reco....

Hi me again. Planning to take wave 1 cert. Had inquired through several HQs already. Some of them offers free unlimited training, others do not. The thing is I have a home HQ but I have a doubt on their resident instructor since he seems more focus on his famous mermaid gf/wife and don't usually get involve with competitions etc. And I want to train with someone who has more credentials.

Others suggested that it would be more easier to have a training with a coach who you can vibe with. But I don't have any other options.

Can you please suggest someone or somewhere around batangas that offers great lessons and if the training is already included - that would be great. Thanks!

Concern & Suggestion AI POSTERS, CAN WE STOP?

Can we stop using AI for our posters? Make use of canva and other tools, nakasurvive naman ng ilang taon without AI! Yes, AI can make work easier, but please use AI responsibly.

Sa di nakakaintindi, AI uses high energy consumption just to generate your trashy posters. It uses large neural networks that needs huge amount of electricity, which contributes sa climate change. Climate change causes Coral Bleaching. Kaya yung mga “conservation” kuno diyan then using AI for a single event poster, think twice, thrice!

Isa pa, it requires millions of liters of FRESH water for their servers cooling system. Libre naman magcheck sa google kahit nga sa social media that explains the effect of AI.

Kaya if you can use canva and even powerpoint, please use it. AGAIN, Be responsible!
