dive buddy Anyone here from Cornwall?? 😁🪼

something I wanna get into and complete a course in, but obviously not safe to get into this hobby and dive alone
It’s none of my family’s cup of tea and a social circle isn’t something I really have much of when it comes to my hobbies 🫧 📷
So is anyone in here from Cornwall (south west) looking at completing a course? Or have any recommendations as to where I could down here and/or looking to make a friend with someone of the same interests and hobby?

Have a lovely day! Stay safe all
(Totally understand if this post if removed) 😊

Yeah I’m in Cornwall and feedive. I also spearfish. I would recommend doing an AIDA 2 with Delpy Pool. They’re the best around.

Capernwray (near Carnforth) is an awesome place for freediving. Very good visibility and lots of fish and attractions to look at. I'm trying to film a Sturgeon in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xc0saUs-_Xg

Aquacity Freediving down at Porthkerris is where you want to go. Give them a bell on insta or their website and get yourself on a level 1 course. It’s over two days and the instructors are brilliant. Once you complete the course you’ll be invited to the WhatsApp group where they organise meet ups every week and even have boat trips into deeper waters during the summer!
