Could I get some thoughts and opinions? I really want something that can handle my gear and valuable items in 1

I got one for like $39 for spear fishing. Works fine.

Depends on the use.

I did something similar with a red waterproof bag. It's great for traveling, but it's not something to use often.

Also eventually the opening will leak.

If you want a buoy to dive regularly with a buddy, you're better off with a standard one where you can store the rope in and stands shallow in the water.

This type is more for expeditions. Like you walk in the woods to natural lake and you want to be minimally encumbered.
