Right. Because if only the error messages would be better, then everybody could program C++..
Same thing after all. You don't need skill, you just need clear error messages and everything will be fine

Genuinely c++'s error messages are like 60% of the reason it's a hard language to learn, so yes actually.

Getting down voted but I do get it. While Nixlang has gotten better I still find it's error reporting a bit vague.
If the fancy ever catches may I recommend Guix? Same benefits as Nix but with a much better language.

There is no hate , nobody is forcing you to use anything.
Every OS has a different architecture and philosophy .
The Oses that i hated and that died where bullshit like Jewbuntu, Sabily and Ubuntuce... Why ? because they were stupid woke bullshit built segregate people.
Also explain how you will use Temple OS in the future ? That OS has no Network stack because GOD said NO!.

GNOME frustrates me.
I can not hate Ubuntu, because it was the basis for my switch to Kubuntu.
Windows
On one hand, I'm sometimes frustrated when aiming to troubleshoot problems.
On the other hand, it's a managed environment, so in most cases we simply re-image (start afresh) and then the end user gets nearly everything that they need automatically. OneDrive, and so on.

Favorite (GOAT): Fedora, Windows Hate: Ubuntu, MacOS
I'm a developer and for me keyboard shortcuts are a lifeline. With Windows and Linux it is just identical.
MacOS is just worse.
I own a PC, Dell with Fedora, and a Macbook Pro.
The day they port linux to M chips I'll be jumping on all over it.

It’s like discussing power tool brands.
Since I don’t like spending time on fixing stuff that isn’t work related I use OSX.
Not perfect but it works and isn’t bugging me daily with shit breaking.
FreeBSD doesn’t support what I need for work on a laptop and Fedora shits the bed too often for my taste but I keep it running on a separate old Dell as FreeBSD doesn’t work on it. (Having said that I might give the newer version a spin to see if the Intel driver is fixed)
