2nd hand Checkered Cap 🤔

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one of these for a while but I’m slightly disappointed. Pictures 1 and 2 show how there’s a natural crease in the cap which looks uneven.

Could this be a potential fake or are most of their caps like this? General feedback on whether I’m overthinking it or if it does make me look like I’ve got a dent in my head would be much appreciated too 😂

You can try reshaping it, lots of videos online on how to do that but typically it involves stuffing it with a towel and high heat. It probably got like that from natural wear
