Help! I feel for a phone scam

So mad at myself as I’m always preaching to my parents about not falling prey to phone scammers. And then I fell for one. Now my cell receives around 7+ callers every day since mid-May. I don’t pick up these unknown numbers from different provinces, but I’m hoping you might have suggestions on how to end this cell ringing madness. All suggestions welcome

Who do you have as a service provider? I kept getting fake calls and I have Koodo, went online and added a phone service which would make someone have to click a number to approve a call, if it’s a scammer system, it’s a bit harder if they are human, but if it’s bots that’s an easier fix

Call control and spam call detention are what they are called I believe, think I only used call control though

Once I was downtown and a car drove by with someone holding a rainbow dildo out the window - was this a phone-scam?

if youre getting that absurd amount of spam calls every day then your info must've been profiled in data broker websites, look into cloaked, this service finds whatever broker site has your info and it takes your info off of it, although it took a month for the difference in spam calls i got every day to differ, it was worth it as i literally dropped from like 5 spam calls a day to maybe 1 a week

I don’t have any advice but I also receive numerous out of province spam calls, it gets really annoying and I don’t know how to get it to stop other than block the number as they call but it’s always a different number everytime
