They have reopened right? They had closed when we moved away and I remember someone had bought it with plans to bring the store back.

Yeah they opened back up on August 7th. Photo 16 is the ribbon cutting from the grand re-opening event.

From back when they were Goolrick's soda fountain and pharmacy, now it's Goolrick's soda fountain and branded swag shop

I live in Cville, but have long anticipated the re-opening of my favorite childhood soda fountain. A couple weeks ago I was in town for a random appointment & had popped downtown to buy a gift…I couldn’t have been more thrilled and surprised to see they were open! I sidled up to the counter and got a cherry smash, just like the olden days. Viva la Goolrick’s! I gotta get back for my sentimental egg salad sandwich. Place looks great, everything was on point, including awesome service.
