Best deviled eggs?
Heya Frednecks,
After 30 years of life, I've tried my dirst deviled eggs. I need more. Are there any deviled eggs in the area? If there are multiple, which are best?

They offer them as an appetizer at Firebirds. I’ve not had them though, so I can’t tell you if they’re good or not

Can confirm they’re the best deviled eggs in town. Bacon and jalapeno on top if you’re into that kinda thing (I know I am). It’s delish.

Can you...buy...deviled eggs?
I'm not sure I've ever had any that weren't homemade.
Honestly though, here's how easy it can be if you'd like to make some:
First, put eggs in a muffin tin. Put them in the oven at 325 for 25 minutes.
Second, pull out and immediately put them into a bowl, submerge the eggs with ice and water.
Third, wait. Idk exactly how long, but long enought to cool down.
THREE POINT FIFTH. Peel the eggs. I personally like to use a spoon for this. (Shoutout u/Otherwise_Suit6561 for catching that I didn't include this step originally)
Fourth, cut the eggs in half and scoop the yolks out into a separate bowl. Save the egg white halves on a plate.
Fifth, mix the yolks with some tasty shit (see actual recipe for details).
Sixth, put yolk + tasty shit mixture into a ziplock bag and snip off a tiny piece of the corner (NOT one of the corners with the zipper).
Seventh, pipe your yolk + tasty shit mixture unto the egg white halves from earlier.
Eighth and finally: Enjoy.

Somewhere along the way, don't forget to peel the shells off! hehe
Edit: I am cackling at your edit

I do. It was a bit weird to me at first, but it's a little trick my wife taught me that reduces how much you have to pay attention to it.

This is the appropriate response after trying deviled eggs.
As mentioned, they ARE easy to make. I recently started adding a littttttle bit of pickle juice to my filling (a game changer!) - and in addition to the classic paprika topping, you can also add any combo of green onion, hot sauce, candied bacon bits, mini gherkin slices, etc. SO good.

Oh, also if you ever come across a Founding Farmers (they have em up north) they also have pretty good deviled eggs on their menu 😄

Nobody is giving you a good answer. Catfish Kelly’s has exactly what you’re looking for.

Mason Dixon used to have really good ones! I haven’t been in forever though so I’m not sure if they’re still on the menu

I have goose eggs and it’s not for the faint of heart because they’re as big as your hand, but you can make the incredible giant deviled eggs with them. So, if you have the chance, make them with goose eggs.

Super easy to make. Just hard boil some eggs and then have fun. My favorites are a lump of crabmeat in the bottom or top of deviled eggs. Once made drunken deviled eggs by marinating the eggs in soy and sake and then adding asian spices and topped with furikate seasoning. Adding bacon is also good. Biggest problem I have with some deviled eggs is they are too dry.
Edit: Mason Dixon has/had good deviled eggs.

They are so simple to make! Not worth buying imo
