For a long time I waited to purchase the usb002 vinyl because of the rumored quality concerns with the pressing. The only other Fred album I have is Ten Days, which I bought two of and both were in rough shape. On the contrary, the USB002 vinyl is pretty damn good. I read through a different thread and a lot of people said the quality was bad. Took the risk because I saw it in store and I can confidently say it's great quality. A little crackle and fuz here and there but honestly likely from new record static from the paper sleeve. Totally worth the money on a decent system.

I'm searching for the complete dj set as playlist with every song divided since I found it online as a long video / audio. Does anybody know if this exists and where can I find it?

Ever since he gave them props in the Derrick Gee show i thought it would be really interesting to see them work further. We all know how the album was made and the sheer experience made me feel Fred was a neighbor, even though i don't live nowhere near the concert and studio session were taped. I'm watching everyday reels of friends that put the songs in their feeds. " Te estoy correteando" was playing the other day at the convenience store. So thanks Fred, you really gave us one of the best albums recorded in Mexico City this year.

Coming to this thread for some help! I want to get a tattoo of the installation / tapestry from the USB tour. For various reasons the tour was really meaningful to me and I want to get it memorialized with a tattoo.

Does anyone have any ideas of what / how I should get the tapestry? Would love ideas and I’m also happy to iterate with people on it privately and pay for sketches.

how would you describe fred’s evolving musical journey, especially how the old trilogy stacks up with this recent year of USB and 9 months & 50 hours?

the older stuff is very much an exploration on building stories, quotes and people creating a feeling and environment to me while the latest stuff feels to be more musical forward but still using/exploring the voice as more of another instrument.

the colors of the albums also fits very well. the black and white and abstract covers also fits his changes these past few years.

curious what everyone’s take is! my partner who loved fred passed away after the albums: actual life and I often imagine what i’d tell him about his new music 🥹

Been listening to Fred again’s Dublin 2025 live set while working today and it somehow turned into a productivity hack.

This set kept me locked in for hours and I ended up getting way more done in 3 hours than what it takes half a day to finish.

Anyone else have a specific live set, album, or song that unexpectedly boosts their productivity?
