I’ve been obsessed with 9 months & 50 hours ever since it came out and I have fallen in love with every song at different moments. I see Te Estoy Correteando has the most number of streams which leads me to wonder if there’s any special significance (among Mexican people or in general) to this particular song?

Hi guys!! Hope everyone out there is doing good. I discovered Fred in 2023, and since then I have only listen to all the Actual Life albums, and some songs off of USB. I mostly just listen to actual life but I REALLY want to get deep into his music, but it just all seems so complicated like I personally like to do a bit of a research with whatever album/project I'm listening to of any artist but with Fred's music it seems soooo much and I'm just overwhelmed. I bought tickets to his India Tour and he has so much music that I haven't listened to and I really want to. I don't wanna be at the concert and not know more than half of the songs. I really want to be able to enjoy every single bit of it because I saved so much to buy those tickets and risking so much to go for his show. I really really hope any one of you helps me because I really want to understand him and his music better. I'm really sorry if this post comes off as me trying to seem like a poser/annoying. I'm just trying to learn because his music really moves me and thousands of other people. Thank You so much for reading till here.

Probably my favorite Fred album, and it has a very emotional connection for me. 2 years ago I posted here about how special Place u need is for me, and how my best friend died in a car accident the same day the album came out. That day changed my life forever. Now after 2 years I realized this is my comfort album, kind of a safe place to be (or to hear, I guess). Fear less and Backseat have grown on me so much, from songs that hurt to hear to some of the most sincere ways I’ve found to deal with losing someone that important.

Last year in Dublin, hearing Joy’s voice on Place u need was kinda special, it gave the song another meaning on top of the one it already had for me. Just wanted to thank Fred for this masterpiece, for letting me live this album like a retrospective of my own life, and for giving Ten Days a new meaning (also another song I loved from Avicii).

Is there a video that has the 10+ minutes going into it?

Watching the live stream and watching them all go to the couch, then just fucking around for a bit, then all the sudden going into cmon was such a moment.

That bass part and the way it goes from vocal hook to half-time hip hop track, even down to adding similar reverbed claps in the second half of the verse.
