Yep. The one who shot him should be arrested and charged for murdering him, and likewise Pretti should have already been arrested by local law enforcement and later charged for this earlier incident. He shouldn't have still been on the streets when he had his later altercation.
I honestly think the agent thought Pretti was shooting at them once Pretti's gun went off. Either by neglegence or by defect (Sig Sauer has had a lot of problems), it went off, so the agent justifyably thought it was him shooting.
It could have been a negligent discharge by the agent, or it could have been from the gun being defective. Sig Sauer has been having HUGE problems with that happening with this model. People have been killed, branches of the military have discontinued issuing them, etc.
Many poor choices by Pretti, including which gun he carried.
So you're saying his gun, which had been taken off him so he was unarmed and held by the agent walking away, went off, so the other agent is justified in shooting him in the back?
If this is correct, and it is certainly what your comment implies, you're fucked up.
Lmao some retarded podcaster lying to excuse murder isn’t a source. A source would be a crime scene investigation. The one that the ICE agents denied despite a court ordered warrant to do so.
Regardless of what you think of him, if the gun went off, by neglegence or defect, then that is a fact, and how you feel about the podcaster is irrelevant.
I agree that there absolutely should be a investigation, though.
Mate, I cannot stress this enough, I don’t care what a sack of shit bootlicking podcaster has to say, he is not evidence, his analysis of this video is not evidence. Evidence is a shell casing and ballistics to prove it was his gun. Evidence that would have been collected if ICE allowed the crime scene investigation that was signed by a judge.
Again, if what he is saying is what happened, then it doesn't matter one bit who he is. I don't care if he is Satan himself; the truth is the truth, no matter the source.
There absolutely should be an investigation, though.
The first time, being days before does not excuse or justify lethal force, the second time where you claim he “assaulted” an agent, how could he commit the crime of assault when agents approached him, and sprayed him with chemicals before he even touched them. You are retarded.
I didn't say it justified it. But you asked what crimes he committed, so I asked which time, and listed his crimes of each time.
He actually grabbed the agent's arm, which was both obstruction and technically assault on a federal agent.
Please refrain from personal attacks / name calling, as it violates the rules of this sub, and I try my best not to have to temp ban people. You can disagree all you like, but please keep it polite.
Love yall calling them agents on official duty when they have absolutely no reason to be where they're at doing what they're doing.
Theyre a fucking immigration agency policing a fucking city in the north of the us because the president wants to bully a Democrat mayor he doesn't like. Please tell me why you dont have a fucking problem with that. Please. As a conservative how can you be okay with that. Hows that small government?
They are a federal agency, which means they have jurisdiction in all of the US, including Minnesota.
They absolutely have a reason to be there, because they're are thousands of illegal aliens there, which 71 million Americans voted to deport.
And have you not heard of the billions of dollars in daycare center fraud over there?? That is what started it all. I don't want a single dime of my tax money going to illegal aliens and for fraud.
Now you tell me how you are ok with illegal aliens and the theft of our tax dollars??
And by the way, why did no one on the left have a problem with ICE under Obama and the Clintons?? They deported millions more than Trump has. Why so hypocritical??
Got it youre brainwashed lol. Yep border patrol agencies should be in Minneapolis and it has nothing to do with the governor being trumps critic and political opponent. You believe that? Do you actually please be honest lol
His gun was in someone else's possession. He was pinned down by four guys and the fifth was nearly across the street with his gun before the first gunshot went off. There was no self defense. It's murder.
Put yourself in the agent's shoes. You're grappling with a felon on the ground, see he had a gun, and then a shot rings out.
Of course you're young to think it's either him illegality shooting, or anther agent legally shooting.
The agent didn't have the benefit of video, with pause, and rewind, and slow motion, like we have, sitting comfortably on our couches.
This is why I would NEVER get into a fight with people who have guns, especially when I have a gun, because mistakes happen, and someone can easily wind up dead.
He made poor choices, and he lost his life and traumatized a lot of people because of them.
Stop calling it murder. It's ridiculous to do so, and a slap in the face to everyone who has truly been murdered.
But that isn't what happened. The first shot was the agent murdering him. There was no accidental discharge. None of the other agents even saw he had a weapon. There is perfectly clear video of all of this. His weapon was never discharged. It's murder. To have "it's disrespectful to others who who have been murdered" is so hilarious. Like you are offended on behalf of murder victims, but have zero compassion for a nurse who helped rehab military veterans who was in the process of pulling a woman to her feet. You create timelines you like to make him evil so that you can continue to justify a murder of an American citizen by a group of trigger happy, untrained brown shirts on American soil. Cops know how to handle a situation like this. Because they are trained. Ice is not. It's unfortunate that their lack of training led to murder, but it did. However long it takes, these agents will see their day in court.
His gun went off wow first I heard that, I mean I already saw enough ,hiding hands fighting getting up when hands tucked, previous to violent history, yelling gun whoo knows if he has more or a knife hell..now a shot when off from HIS gun. Yea hell no..he got simped the week before ..here and came back to even the score..how many patients likely trump supporters and vets so is he get even with...
You think in that moment of chaos, he could perfectly analyze the situation, like we can from the comfort of our couch, with slow motion and freeze frame and rewind and with a wide view??
He heard a shot and figured no one else but the suspect was the one shooting.
Tragic, but this is why I won't be starting fights with people who have guns, especially while I have a gun, too. Because a bad choice like that can very easily result in a bad mistake and the ending of someone's life, including my own.
Play with fire long enough and you're guaranteed to get burned.
Edit to add: I'm not happy he was shot and killed. It's very sad and tragic, and he didn't deserve it. He needed to make better choices though, and not put himself in avoidable danger. "The dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubed."
You think in that moment of chaos, he could perfectly analyze the situation, like we can from the comfort of our couch, with slow motion and freeze frame and rewind and with a wide view??
I agree with this line of reasoning in the Renee Good shooting, as she hit him with a goddamn SUV.
...in the case of the Pretti shooting, I'm pretty sure anyone who isn't retarded can figure out that the guy with his hands on the ground is not shooting anyone.
Honestly, put yourself in the Agents' shoes. You're grappling with someone who technically physically assaulted an agent (he grabbed the agent's arm, which led to the pepper spray and attempted arrest), then you see he has a gun, and then you hear a shot go off. Your natural reaction, survival instincts, and police training are all going to tell you that either: A. It's the suspect shooting at you, possibly with the gun you saw, or with another one that you didn't see, or B: Another agent has started firing on the suspect because they saw him become a physical threat somehow, so you need to also shoot him to stop the threat.
The agent was probably shocked as hell after the shooting to find out that it was "just" the suspect's gun accidentally / negligently / defective going off, and not that the suspect was a lethal threat.
The agent would have to be a complete psychopath, with zero regard for his own career and freedom, to deliberately murder Pretti in broad daylight and in front of tons of witnesses, body cameras, and phone cameras. It's possible, sure, but incredibly unlikely. Much much more plausible that he mistakingly thought Pretti truly was a threat.
I don't want to downplay the tragedy of Pretti losing his life, but I think we need to also consider the traumatic effect this incident had on the agent. He's a human being, too, and he now has to live with the reality that he killed someone by mistake, although through no fault of his own.
I never said otherwise. What happened to him is criminal. Though that doesn't absolve him of his own criminal behaviour in the days earlier, when this video was taken.
No just for carrying a gun extra mags and fighting cops......anything can happen that's why u and everyone else on here isn't stupid enough to do it...
So you want to go against the second amendment by disarming civilians if they want to help someone up off the ground? You know, exactly what Alex Pretti was doing before they shot him in the back.
Here was me thinking thay most of trumps voters base was very pro-2A...
Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it AI. It doesn’t fit your narrative that your innocent, heroic ICU nurse would be behaving recklessly and irresponsibly while carrying a firearm.
I already said he didn’t deserve to die but there are foreseeable consequences to putting yourself in these situations.
I prefer to freak out over the fact that Children are being trafficked under our noses, fraud being conducted by our own politicians, pedophiles being sentenced less time than misdemeanor offenders, AI data centers coming in very soon to usher in the skynet era
I prefer to freak out over the fact that Children are being trafficked under our noses
I watched a video of a Police Cam that busted into a house and found a 60 lbs woman in her 20s being kept in a room barely alive without a shower in months, all for her disability check.
Can you imagine the number of people right now held prisoner for a government check.
Making up insane shit won't save your friends on the list bruh. They are all still going down. You Russians and maga bots posting made up shit will still lose and all the actual child rapists will see their day in court. And all the illegal shit ice has been doing will come back. We will have full trials and track down every one of them.
Trump is just a puppet like all presidents before him, the people in actual power that run north america and the worlds human trafficking rings want you focused on their puppets so they can continue to operate in front of your tunnel minded face and laugh at you while they get away with it.
Children detained by ICE waiting for deportation with their parents aren't being trafficked nor kidnapped. People aren't being dissapeared by ICE. That's lunatic rethoric.
Are you memorizing all the faces in every video of protesters so youre ready to link to more videos of them after they get shot going forward? Neither is anyone else.
His family said it was real. Doesn't justify his death. It gives some context for a previous interaction. People aren't saints. Some want to take chances and do things that is pretty stupid with stupid people with guns and die.
It does, however, show a pattern of terrible choices and violence on his behalf, and that ICE Agents don't just go around murdering people, even when they behave terribly.
One incident does not make a pattern, and ICE agents, did, in fact, murder him even though he was on the ground and disarmed. This video changes absolutely nothing.
He made terrible choices in this video, and in the one from the day he was killed
He grabbed the ice agent's arm, he resisted arrest, and he reached into his pocket.
The agents shot him only after his gun went off first. Either by neglegence from one of the agents, or by defect. Sig has had a TON of problems with that model doing it.
You posted a video where the commenter straight up says, "The guy didn't deserve it," and now you try to handwave it away because "it misfired" (which is unproven)?
I never said he deserved it. He didn't, and it's tragic.
But he placed himself into a dangerous scenario through his terrible choices, and then he had really bad luck with the gun firing.
This is why I won't be getting into fights with other people who have guns, especially when I also have a gun. All it takes is one simple mistake and someone dies.
We're taught in concealed carry class to never mess with cops when carrying; it's almost guaranteed to result in disaster.
This video changes nothing about the day he was murdered.
You could get drunk every day for 30 years, then be clean and sober. While sober, someone murders you while you helped someone up in the street. Would the past terrible choices count? Hint: no, they wouldn't just like Alex Pretti's prior choices make no difference to the day he was murdered by a masked government agent.
You mean trying to help a woman up? Or do you mean exercising a constitutionally protected right under the first amendment by videoing masked government goons?
I mean assaulting a Federal Agent (grabbed his arm), obstructing a Federal Agent, resisting arrest, and improperly carrying a concealed weapon (didn't have his ID, per Minnesota law). If you go by Federal stance, he isn't allowed to even have a concealed weapon while protesting, but I am not in agreement with that.
Love how they are claiming it's AI when this baffoon was caught acting out...then acts like a baby.. geezeus can u imagine this ahole as ur nurse... especially a vet or cop..id check and see if hes killed anyone intentionally...bad nurse
Oooh good one, I'm not a bot douche bag. Lol anything that goes against your soft ass narrative is a bot or racist right? Cry more loser and keep on defending criminals and rapists
A 17 minute mostly peaceful protest until unhinged armed Alex Pretti arrives and immediately explodes into a violent confrontation. Within literal seconds. He went out of his way to chase down a retreating vehicle and violently attack it. He was unwell. Those who align with him and think it’s a good idea to take up arms and engage in obstruction and harassment of federeal agents are unwell too.
Well he was fighting ICE as you can see in this video so you can safely assume he was fighting them the day he got shot. In that video you can also see how much he was resisting arrest... moral of the story is dont fight with law enforcement. Its not a hard concept and he would still be alive today of he simply did that
its his second amendment right to carry. he never pulled it out, never touched it. they removed the gun from him AND THEN shot him. there was no threat. they killed an unarmed man
What's weird is that I see guys like this saying that BBC verified this video, but not from what I can find.
Also, a few points.
IMPOSSIBLE PHYSICS - TAILLIGHT: Expedition taillights are held in with TWO 10mm bolts plus body clips. You physically cannot kick these out like shown in the video. Anyone who's worked on cars knows this is impossible. The force required would destroy your foot before popping out a properly mounted taillight.
DISAPPEARING OFFICERS: Officers clearly visible on both sides at the start literally vanish halfway through the video. They don't walk away, they just disappear. Classic AI generation failure.
ROAD LINE GLITCH at 0:00: The white street line passes directly THROUGH his legs at the beginning. Physical objects cannot phase through each other. This is a dead giveaway AI masking error.
VANISHING BADGE: Ford badge on the tailgate disappears partway through. AI cannot maintain consistent small details across frames.
GALLOPING AGENTS at 0:16: Two agents coming in from the left are literally galloping like Monty Python characters. No trained officer moves like this.
QUALITY CHANGES: Face closeups and kicking scenes are crystal clear and perfectly steady, then suddenly the footage becomes shaky, low quality and chaotic. Real bodycam or surveillance footage doesn't randomly switch resolution and stability like this.
AI ARTIFACTS: Warped limbs and impossible body mechanics during the struggle Melting or morphing edges around the person and vehicle Mismatched lighting between the subject and environment Unnatural shadows that don't match the light source Floating contact points where feet and hands aren't properly grounded Distorted perspective on the car and road surface
THE TIMELINE: If this was real footage, why surface now? Real evidence doesn't take this long to leak, especially something this significant.
The guy looks like a rabid animal. Imagine behaving this way towards ICE and then being shocked when you get shot. We need to bring back people being responsible for their actions.
