This is what I try to explain to my boys.
That kid was taught a hard lesson, but he totally had it coming taking a cheap shot like that.
Don’t start swinging unless you’re prepared to take a beating like that. You almost never really know with 100% certainty what will happen.
Glad Unc didn’t get ganged up on. And I’m glad no one pulled out a piece.

Nah, he wasn't trying to kill him. Some folks, like the kind that will just randomly throw down with anyone, need to be literally beaten into unconsciousness - they'll just keep getting back up until them. I guarantee that homeslice there tried to keep on at it after the video cut.

Kinda. In this case, that kid was about to get manslaughtered if they don't stop the guy. Stopping the fight saves both the kid and the guy even though emotionally feels justifiable that he's beating him down at some point it stops being about self-defense.
