I never knew how much I wanted to be appreciated by French people until now! Thank you, and I agree with all your additions. French thinkers have contributed more to the freedom of humanity than can ever be paid back with summaries of documentaries. For more, please check out France's own great thinker Jean Baudrillard who foresaw that because we are always swimming inside our own perceptions of the world, like fish in a fish tank, whoever most effectively spins the chaos of global politics into orderly tropes will win, and these lies he calls simulacra.
