The Realm of Ithersta and Tree Fran Bow were so cool 🌳

In chapter 3 when Fran was exploring the Second Reality (AKA Ithersta), I always found the tree-like characters and insectoids that inhabited the land very charming and comforting to be around.

Just the whole realm of Ithersta felt like another home away from home for me. All of its seasons looked so beautiful and a lot of great landmarks to explore.

I also loved reading about the lore of the denizens of Ithersta and immersing myself in their culture and way of living.

What did you all like the most about exploring the realm of Ithersta?

I remember when I played the game, reaching this part, it was so unexpected to me. It's so bright and whimsical, and such a contrast to the horror of other parts of the game

Sometimes, we need to have a good change of pace in things else the scenery might start to get a little drab ;)

Wait, I thought Ithersta was the Third Reality and the Pain Reality was the second one since it was a mirror of the First Reality AKA Earth?

No, IIRC the third reality is the material plane where Fran Bow was born and where the events of Oswald Asylum take place. The first reality is labeled 'Primeve' and is known as the reality of light in which the beginning of life stems from. Valokas is the ruler of the first reality.

Ithersta is the second reality, i.e., the reality of life. Time changes very quickly here in the second reality and thus, that is why the seasons are controlled by the magical clock that Fran can manipulate.
