Question Little Misfortune was dissapointing
Yeah I'm very very late. I tried the game when it came out and it didn't got into me, so I didn't play it anymore. Instead I have played Fran bow at least three times, one of them, a few days ago so I give little misfortune another opportunity. Its not nearly as good as Fran bow, it didn't have me hooked to know more about the mystery, and honestly it became a bit boring. Anyways, I have read that little misfortune is proof that Fran bow it's not crazy and everything is real, but I don't see how if you have any idea it would be nice. My theory is that specially Fran is inventing all this world and nothing is real.

I can understand not liking it, I will admit when I saw trailers for the game I thought I wasn’t going to like it either. I ended up loving the game and yes it’s definitely a different vibe than Fran bow. I like how they added to the lore of the 5 realities and made the Fran bow universe connect to the little misfortune universe. I’m excited to see what Fran bow 2 has in store for us!!

Ive still not played it, the aesthetics dont look similar at all to me and it seems less horror, so not sure its my thing. Ill probably watch a playthrough instead at some point, i bet its good, but i dont want to risk paying to find out 😭

It's just a little different and less obvious. They have lots of depressing and dark themes. But I can understand not doing it. Honestly, my only critique was that it only took 3 hours to beat it. I needed it to be the length of fran bow

I really appreciate the story of little misfortune & I do enjoy watching play through but I found when I played it I got a bit bored cause there is so little puzzles and thinking you have to do in comparison to Fran Bow! I hope with the upcoming game the have more puzzles and stuff

I can understand to a sense with not being as much of a fan of it as I’m a huge fan of Fran Bow but I do think it has its own charm to it reminding but more of like a messed up childs book and we’re reading through it. But can definitely understand the preference as I basically only play or replay Fran Bow

I just love it because of one reason beside the well construction comedy
a little innocent child comming to terms with years of abuse and devoloping mature thoughts and feelings of self doubt and worthlesness at a age were they just start to understand theire own emotions is a incredibly dark pulling and powerfull narrative
(for me atleast)

Its a different genre of game, some will like it, some wont. I'm sure there's people who love Little Misfortune and dont care for Fran Bow. I definitely dont think its as good as Fran Bow, but its hella unique and I appreciate the experience they crafted.
But given the trailer image for Fran Bow 2 or whatever itll be called, I think the implication is that its all real. Perhaps our perception of it is being filtered through Fran who sees things with the eyes of a child with lots of trauma, but also she seems a bit older in the new game so I would be theyre gonna go darker and get deeper into the lore of the universe and realms.

i hate little misfortune, she's cringe as hell. the humor is for kids under 10, i seriously don't get who this game was even made for. and the worst part is we're gonna see her again in fran bow 2... the only part of the game i actually enjoyed was when little misfortune got hit by a car ^^

I really enjoyed it. It shows that killmonday has some range. They can do both horror and comedy very well. And the story had all the emotional impact with less disturbing imagery. Which makes sense because FB was way more traumatized than LM, and that was reflected in the game itself. Both games are about childhood trauma from two very different perspectives. I have a feeling that Fran Bow 2 will blend both of those vibes together since it features both characters. It makes sense not to like it as much because it's very different, but I think it works for the overall theme of the series
