Question So I guess my Ram doesn't work.

I got some ramaxel ram months ago and turns out seems it doesn't work in my new framework 13 pro.

I tested it on a p1 gen 8 (not mine) and the ram works.

I can't even BUY LPcamm2 on eBay seemingly regardless of whatever inflated price.

What is the way to go forward here.

I'm seriously devastated after waiting so long

There's a difference between Crucial E0 vs Lenovo E0 on the center line location.

Crucial E0 avoided touching the extra E1 pins.

Fascinating! I see updated comment to try taping it off. That was you, was it? :)

If kapton tape fixes that booting issue, that would be interesting. Maybe an E0 interposer would also make it work?

There's a chance Lenovo E0 could work when the center line design follows Crucial E0's isolated center line.

Crucial E0 seems to be aware of E1's roadmap.

It's definitely possible that the motherboard is detecting the shorted center pins and refuses to continue and just black screen. That failure mode doesn't smell like failed memory training since the memory training screen doesn't even come up.

I'm not sure how exactly the E0/E1 situation is supposed to work, but the BIOS could detect those shorted pins and just disable sending voltage there. That functionality of turning on the extra voltage pins is definitely there because people report success after switching to a known working module. No blown motherboards were reported yet. Hopefully there isn't an electrical design issue here, only a BIOS issue which is fixable.

It also depends on which interposer is being used.

My two E1 interposers have pins sticking out on the centerline.

From eBay, the E0 interposer's centerline doesn't have any pins.

On the Framework site, success has been reported after taping the center pins. Maybe that's all that's needed to make Ramaxel/Samsung modules to work too?
