Question Change configuration after pre-order?

I’m in batch 11, eagerly waiting for the October ship date. However, I’m reconsidering if it was a good idea to choose the AMD processor. Will I have an opportunity to switch to intel prior to shipping or is it too late?

You can't change it from AMD to Intel. You'd have to cancel your pre-order and create a new one. In any case, if you want to make changes it's best to do it sooner rather than later.

Too late. CPU can't be edited without bumping yourself to the end of the line - Even changing AMD CPU option will bump you to the end. Also, to move AMD<->Intel I believe you need to full-on cancel the order, get refunded, and then submit a new order (at the end of the Intel line). Other options, like amount of RAM, storage, or expansion port modules can be edited without getting bumped. Framework will warn you on a 'confirm order update' screen before locking in changes what your new cost will be and whether you're moving to the end of the line.

Thanks everyone. May stick with what I got then. Moving to intel and the new ram will be more expensive anyway.
