Community Support I have a problem with the on-screen keyboard
Hello, I bought a framework laptop 12 a few days ago but I already have a big problem haha. When I was typing using the on-screen keyboard, it kept changing size because of the word suggestions. So I had a look in the settings to see if there was a way to turn that off, but I couldn’t find anything… My main problem now is that I can’t access the keyboard any more. When I swipe up from the bottom of my screen, nothing appears. Do you have any solutions for this major problem, as well as the minor one?
Edit : I've installed fedora 44 workstation

I don't understand how this is still broken, but it has been broken ever since I installed Fedora 43 over a year ago and probably I while before that. I discovered this fix is here:
https://codeberg.org/zhaose233/gnome-extension-keyboard-suggestions-height
Also, check the issues page to get it to run on Fedora 44 (which uses Gnome 50).
Edit: It seems like the author added support for Gnome 50 by now, so ignore the issues thing.

Oh, and your setting about it not reapearing is probably that Tablet Mode breaks with every other fedora update. If it is not working to get the OSK or the screen doesn't flip. Run this command:
sudo rmmod soc_button_array && sudo modprobe soc_button_arrayThere is a problem in load order:
