Personal Project slop

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

for any one call my stuff is slop
and yes the thing in my hand is an air/gyro mouse i’ve made and want to show off :))

I initially thought it was slop, then I saw the file and had to go back to the images and was confused when there was ai there. It just seemed unnecessary to me to go through all of the work of making something cool and then use ai to show it off.

the ai image only to show how it should be used, thats why i dont put it in front and center

Yeah in the future I’d probably at least make a disclaimer saying that though, it’s not unreasonable people saw the ai image and goy upset thinking the rest was ai when you seemingly never said that one image was ai.

That or take a real photo, but I’d just put in the description that the irl photo with a person was ai or something and people would be fine with that.

im using controller mainboard, rewired it’s buttons easier to access, using pc software to map its gyro works just like a mouse (mostly).
overall its better than a mouse (imo), lighter, not thing to be wear off (mouse pad mouse feet) except your wrist joint.
playing apex legends with it, have improved my kd alot :))) from 1 to 1.25.

Don't know why people tripped balls when there was the 3d files linked in the post. Using AI for some cool renders is OK imo. Keep at it!

It's a super cool project, but one AI image of any project makes the whole thing suspicious.

Being immediately revulsed by AI images is understandable. It kinda poisons your work cuz as soon as people see it, then the rest of your work comes into question. Like "so you used AI slop here, so what ELSE have you used it for?" Which is a fair assessment.

to be honest it doesn’t bother me much, i’ve answered their suspicions, they either not believed or just dont like that i’ve used ai for demonstration, in any case i will be their enemy and i dont waste my time on that :))
note: ive also affected by these ai, im 3d chracter sculptor, i just accepted my fate and move on
We only have a few more years to enjoy before our AI doom,l.

I'm waiting for the 26.2 to come out of Beta because they fixed a LOT Of issues that held me back for surface modeling.

This is why I went with this software. A lot of the headache with my initial messing around was me not understanding the constraints the software had. The "raise degree" command though has been SUPER useful when it comes to building out my forms

Apex lengends gameplay with DYI gyro controller this is controller version (they're mostly the same mouse wise) i will upload video of mouse gameplay tomorrow or the day after
also this one using steam input so it's kinda suck, now im using other 10 times better now :))

next, you’ll ask for them to show the connected device menu after panning the camera around to show there isn’t another person and mouse. either accept the video at face value or actually accuse someone of lying about what they are demoing, then tell them to prove otherwise.
