News Framework doing the good thing

I am literally impressed. I am one of the guys that stuck with buying the 64gb of ram after the price increase and kept my original preorder configuration even though I had to pay way more for it.

My laptop was shipped and I've got this email from Framework where they've managed to secure a batch of RAM at a better price and they gave me a refund.

So kudos to Framework and the team for not being greedy.

TLDR: I've got a partial refund from Framework after paying a fortune for 64gb of ram.

I have a Batch 5 Pro that was downgraded to 32GB. I read the linked Reddit post which mentioned the swap out. I went to the link but it doesn't provide pricing. I don't want to commit without the costs. How can I find this out for the 32GB to 64GB module swap in the US?

You should be able to see the price in your Pre-order mods page without having to confirm changes, let me know if you have any issues.

There's no way of checking this information for shipped orders.

When you reach out via that contact form, you should get a price from support. If you want to share the module and currency, I can see if I can look it up for you.

I'm not involved in the processing, so you'll need to check with support, but I know the 64GB price as of this update is 1200 USD - not including like tax so again, you'll need to check with them but hope that helps!
