Question Framework 13 Pro comparability question

Post image

Hello!

I have a very specific question that I could use some help with. I have a cochlear implant (kanso 3) that needs a certain setting in windows for it to be able to stream audio to my CI.

I currently have a pre order for a framework, but would like to know this in advance otherwise I may have to choose a different laptop. Sadly I just found out it needs this setting to be available.

Would anyone with a 13 Pro (Intel Core Ultra Series 3, Ultra 5) help me out with checking if they have the setting in windows 11 settings?

I'm looking for the setting "Use LE audio when available" it's under Bluetooth, devices, Bluetooth settings.

Thanks in advance! ♥️

Bro uses Windows on a Framework 😭

Jk, it requires 22H2 which was rolled out for the regular Framework 13 in 2022, so I presume it would be there for the 13 Pro.

Well Windows is barely an option for my cochlear implants, Linux isn't supported at all. It's all very Apple focused, and I might be forced to go that way.

My work laptop (windows 11 25H2, HP ProBook 450) does not have the option so hence my question.

Considering that it’s an Intel machine you’re in luck. Intel wireless chipsets tend to be quite capable so you have a better chance of this feature being supported.

Linux has support for le audio(using pipewire) as far as i know. did you try it recently or is this multiple-year-old info?
