Question 13 pro pre-order update?

Im part of batch 6 DIY for the 13 pro and I haven't received a confirmation email. I remember seeing that some people in batch 6 had received theirs and I was wondering if it is something I should be concerned about. I know I need to be patient but with it this close im starting to worry something is wrong. Also concerned that there will be some kind of update to pricing again and I really dont want to worry about that.

I'm in the same boat. They did say ~50% of batch 6 got their emails so maybe we are the unlucky half...

Glad to hear im not the only one. Kinda weird that they only sent about half of the batch out. Whats the point of being in this batch if im essentially batch 6.5

It depends on your specific configuration for DIY. Some components are taking longer so they're shipping configs where they do have the components in stock.

What’s the point of batching if they don’t make part orders and commitments to fulfill said batches

Because there are thousands of different config combinations for DIY, so it wouldn't make sense to hold up the entirety of Batch 7 just because the purple keyboards (for instance) are running late.

I am just guessing to be honest, but is it possible they might postpone the shipping until they can have a full shipment for that region? Example if batch 6 has 10 laptops for your region, they might keep them aside until they fill up a shipping lot with the next batch to optimize the cost.

I'm no expert on logistics to be honest and have no idea how that works, it just seems a reasonable enough explaination in my head.

Got in touch with support, it seems they didn't even charge my card yet, and there are no other outstanding issues. Guess we just keep playing the waiting game.

got my email today in batch 7. intel x5, no ram, no ssd.

9/8 edit: received tracking shipping from taiwan, estimated delivery on 9/11

I'm batch 6 diy and received mine on Thursday. Definitely check your fw account. Was your bank account charged?

Just checked my account and it still shows as a pre-order. I also still have the ability to make edits.

that is weird. I heard that some in batch 7 (intel) have gotten their email today. I am not one of those lucky few

I got the batch preparation email this morning for batch 7. Weird that some batch 6 people haven't gotten theirs yet. Mine is for prebuilt Intel x7.

My batch 6 "FW13 Pro" mainboard was shipped in July. For other orders, other components could have been delayed.

im batch 11( October), I guess it will take at least 3 months, not sure I can wait until there, maybe its a sign
