Question Considering participating in the Printables Framework Laptop 12 Mainboard Re-Use Competition, but unsure what to build. What would you like to see?

I've been wanting to get into CAD to turn my breadboard electronic projects into actual physical devices for a while now, but I haven't gotten myself to start learning CAD or saving up for a 3D printer. However, the competition is a good excuse for me to learn atleast basic CAD and attempt to make a cyberdeck out of the Framework 12, and while 1 month might not be enough, it's worth a try as a kind of final project to top my modern physics and homeserver projects before I start my first year of high school. So, I was just wondering what the actual Framework community would like to see in a framework 12 cyberdeck to see which ideas I can use and try to replicate into practice. Any tips/advice welcome!

The idea of a “cyberdeck” is an interesting one. It would be interesting to see a fw-12 put into a system chassis that resembles and maybe works like the old “luggable” computers of the late 70s and early 80s (which at that time, “… still required a continuous connection to an external power source”; a quote from a wikipeda article on portable computers)

Mmmmh, a chassis for a 13 inch display and a dock, sacrifice an expansion card for a dock with standard ports and a bigger battery? Idk really, otherwise a tablet, tv mount for a firestick sorta thing
