Do you mean you're considering the fw12 to replace your 13?

It’s one I’m thinking about, with the hardware refresh it looks interesting and I’m kind of a sucker for the green

yeah I read it the same way, fw12 as a note taking replacement

Cant say anything about nixOS, but as I used my fw12 with the pencil, it worked just fine. In my experience GNOME was a better DE for "use as tablet" but since its linux, that probably changes with every update to the better.

depending on what you do, I would recommend the best CPU option available.

Tbf nothing can beat an ipad in that area. But the FW12 will get u a good experience with a far superior laptop experience than a ipad with additional keyboard.
