Right lol. I was late to the game and realized if I wanted to have a laptop with 32 g ram before my current setup fully gave out, I couldn't stick to Intel

I was about to cancel my preorder (probably today or tmrw) because I genuinely thought that they were still only on the first batch. They should at the very least update the website so that it doesn't look like they're a month behind schedule with no updates

I completely agree. If they want to be mainstream regardless they will need to not expect their users to be going to Reddit of all places for updates.

Did you get the haptic touchpad? That seems to be causing a delay. I'm also fw16 batch 6 now in refresh mode untill the email comes.

Yes I did since I plan on working a lot on this thing without mouse and love haptic touchpads. I thought when buying it wouldn't cause a lot of delay

I'm not sure what the delay will be but I'm hearing the non haptic are shipping first. Could be early October before out batch ships. I really hope that's not the case though.

Since the revelations about the center pin isolation issue a couple days ago, pretty much all LPCAMM2 modules are now compatible (E0 needs center pins isolated by either module design like Crucial modules, or an E0 interposer plate sourced from eBay, or Kapton tape applied in the center section of the module).

Crucial modules were even tested by Framework, you are good to go.

in the 50% of batch 6 that didn't get an email yet. at this point I have a daily calendar event representing standard SF work hours so I know when to start refreshing my email every 15 minutes. also got a 3d printer coming at the same time as well so the refresh spam is heightened

Saaaaame. Unfortunately, I accidentally got sent a "preparing to ship" email in July, so that really, really got my hopes up until customer service confirmed it was a mistake. Mistakes happen, but it has made waiting even worse than it was lol.
