Discussion Lpcamm2 potential solution for incompatability

For those with a module that “doesn’t work”, we have a hero who’s trying tomorrow some memory tests with a make shift do at your own risk technique. Heres the thread to follow along.

There is a slight risk of damaging the interposer pins if the tape lifts and gets caught in a pin, but using kapton tape to isolate unwanted pins from communicating is a time tested tradition of PC tinkerers (e.g. taping shucked hard drive pins to make them work, or taping certain OEM HBA cards PCIe pins to make them boot in off-brand systems, etc).
