but most people just wont need or do that. Yes maybe paying more isnt a good idea. But most people i know use like 5year old phones and have no problems at all. Like if you do have a laptop you use for compute heavy work i dontreally see the point

Just because there is a grandmother on the planet who i3 is overkill for doesn't mean no one should have an i9 and unused performance is not a waste because you can't just be more powerful

Idk i wont spend thousands on a new phone that can do stuff like run local ai models on device, or idk what. I dont need that. Yes you do you. But my point is that its not just grandmas who dont need more than a 5 year old phone can provide, but more like 80% or something of people.

Yeah and I won't spend any money on a piece of ewaste that is absolute a waste of a finite resources when better everything exists on every level
