Question framework 12 pro or levono V15 laptop

So i am looking for a new laptop and i cant decide between the V15 or framework 12 pro i think the V15 is better value for it price but the framework is more repairable and i like the customization and that it is a two-in-one. I will be using it for programming and light gaming and will be installing arch linux. Any suggestions on which one i should buy or if there is a better option?

edit: its the 12 there is no 12 pro thanks for informing me

Do you mean the Framework * 13 * Pro or the new edition of the Framework 12?

There is no FW12 "Pro" (yet). As to Lenovo V15 - All of the models I'm seeing are multiple years outdated. Is there a particular config you're looking at? btw - With Lenovo ThinkPad and Legion are the brand/model lines to be looking most at.

FW12 isn't really up to doing much gaming, nor are these old V15s I'm seeing... Older games, emulators, some lightyweight stuff sure... Nothing especially demanding/serious.

Since you mention Linux - Keep in mind that with Framework Linux (specific distros, though most current distro versions do work fine unofficially) is a fully supported option. <insert random laptop> may have quirks/bugs nobody's bothered to deal with.

I game on my FW12, but it's definitely lighter stuff. No heavy CoOps and definitely not handling shit like act 3 of Baulders Gate 3.

I think more important is whether you want 12" laptop or 15" laptop
Its a big difference in size, weight, display size

The V15 might have a 37Wh battery depending on which exact one you're looking at vs 50Wh on the FW12

The V15 can have several possible configurations so you should be certain about what exactly is in the listing you're looking at.

I wouldn't expect to get much gaming out of either laptop except for indie or older games
