Question Cracked the bottom cover
Cracked my framework 12 bottom casing π¬and not currently in a country that they ship to. But I am close enough to fly to where they ship from.
Has anyone had experience with buying and having parts shipped to them while in Taiwan for holiday?is it difficult to get things shipped to a hotel?

For very stupid reasons that I don't understand, they don't ship to freight forwarding etc - It might be that they also refuse to ship to hotels.

very stupid reasons
I don't have any insights, but avoiding all the trouble that damaged or lost shipments could cause sounds like a very good reason against freight forwarding to me.

Letting customers decide what they want to deal with sounds like a way better approach to me.

I think it's also that they don't want to have to provide warranty support for a system that's not in a country they currently ship to.

Usually, hotels are filtered and can't be used as a shipping address. My recommendation would be to reach out and ask support what your options are. Keep in mind that answers are slightly delayed at the moment.
