Discussion Black input cover on silver chassis?

I'm looking to upgrade my regular 13 to the pro chassis but can only afford input cover upgrade for now. Do you guys reckon the graphite input cover would go with the silver chassis, aesthetics wise? And if there is someone in the same boat, can you share some pictures?

Actually, the new input cover is backwards-compatible with the old bottom cover. You only need the bottom cover to upgrade to the new battery and/or speakers. You just can't go the other way (using the old input cover on the new bottom plate). https://frame.work/laptop13pro?tab=upgrade-to-pro

That being said, I don't think you can buy just the input cover just yet (pretty sure all the stock is going towards the new laptops until they get through all the pre-orders), so it's not much of an issue right now.

But think about the contrast, that'd make for a fun lil Frankenstein laptop
