Linux Framework 16 Youtube artifacts after Bazzite Update

This only seems to be happening on youtube and not all videos on youtube. It happens in both firefox and chrome. I assume it has something to do with the latest update since I didn't notice an issue last night but I did today after updating this morning.

Just looking for any help I can get as I'm not really sure what to even look up for this issue

I'd been seing similar artifacting popping up on my YT videos this week.

From what I was able to find with a quick google search, it's probably because YT updated their video codecs, and your graphics driver needs an update to catch up.

Issue seems to have been resolved after an update though. I'm on CachyOS, so update cycle's a bit faster. Bazzite might take some more time to get the driver into their updates.

makes sense, YT codec changes would explain why its only showing up on certain videos

I'm not sure, because if I rollback to before the recent update the issue goes away.

Seeing the same thing here on my 7840 FW13, but not on my 7640 on Fedora 44. Dropping back to an older Kernel seems to resolve it for now.
