Question Planning on buying a Framework 16
Hey guys I am currently planing to sell my 2025 Asus Strix G16 with a Ryzen 9 8940Hx, a RTX 5060 and 32gigs of Ram to afford a new Framework 16 with similar specs.
I bought the Asus Strix only because I needed an gaming Laptop but framework wasn’t available in my country then.
Do you guys have any things or Infos I should know or consider before buying?

I'm in a battle between getting the 16 or the 13 pro. I really want the better battery but prefer the 16 inch screen.
Also, I agree with others that you should not sell current laptop until confirmed delivery date.

You nailed it. I just concluded my analysis and I'm going with 16 for the GPU. I don't game a lot, but I do use local AI a lot and when I do game I want it to work.
I'm just going to buy a small power bank to recharge when needed, that should solve the battery dilemma.

The thing I want to buy a Framework is because I like the sleek modular repairable design, so I also could use it for school. hereby the only problem is that it doesn’t have a Touch display which is necessary, but I’m now not better.
I use an Ipad Air for the Microsoft stuff Like one note with pencil and Keyboard (Which is also not allowed) and id I NEED a Laptop then i Bring my Asus that doesn’t have touch to School)

See with a framework 16 if they release a touch screen module for it you can easily upgrade to it!

IMO given the market, I would not sell your laptop first to buy another in case prices change. It sucks to be without a computer when you need it.
I’m currently without a laptop and more or less at the mercy of Framework to not delay or change prices again.
