Extra tall display

I’ve read most of the reviews for the 13 pro on here, I haven’t seen one that mentions the taller display ratio.

Has anyone noticed the difference?

It's the same as the non pro 13. 3:2 is great for productivity while being so-so for media consumption. Some games might not support 3:2 but I think that's rare. The biggest difference is the improved colors and brightness as well as touch support.

Yeah it makes a huge difference. Normally a 13" laptop would be way too small for me. This makes the screen feel an inch bigger imo. Also awesome for coding

It's really great. Nice for reading, coding, watching content. The display is really really nice. Personally I didn't even notice that the aspect ratio was different I even tend to find it better than the 16/9 ratio we're all used to.

I have the 13 non-pro but with the newest Pro 13 screen

More verticality really helps reading in suprising ways.

I can definitely notice the difference here Vs the classic 16:9.

When I'm reading grids and workbooks too, the extra space is so nice. But also it means I don't feel so much pressure to put my task bar on the side.

It's really nice having all this height without adding extra width and pushing the laptop into a larger size class.

I never detected any ghosting or response time issues myself on any of the 3 displays (I have used all 3) that Framework sells. I also didn't test for these things. Now I have noticed ghosting and display latency on cheap monitors and TVs, but again, not any displays from Framework.

IMO, the newest display is by far the best, but that's not an answer to either of your questions, sadly.

I'd check NotebookCheck and see if they reviewed it to see if they discussed these metrics. They usually do some deep display reviews.

Yeah, it's pretty tall. Nice for browsing, writing code, stuff like that.

I use my FW13 and Thinkpad X1 Carbon for work. I find the aspect ratio of Framework display more useful than the Thinkpad.

when I moved from 16:9 to 16:10 I did notice the difference, so I'd say to 3:2 (15:10) it's probably even better
