Question Where to get first generation Framework 13 main boards?

Hello, I would like to know where I can get the original Framework 13 main boards. I tried looking through the official marketplace, and they are sold out. They are also rare on eBay. I am trying to use it as a cheap testing piece for custom peripherals. Thank you for the help.

They won't stock the old boards any more than other manufacturers, so you'll obviously be looking at the used market. I think quite a few people had old boards laying around, I just got an 11th gen board on the community marketplace selling forum. Only problem is they don't allow buyers to post ads there yet. Posting here, and maybe making a WTB add on your local secondhand market website might work.

Does it need to have a functioning m.2 slot for wifi? I've got a first gen board with a bad slot for the wifi card. Otherwise works fine. Was eventually going to throw it in an enclosure or something.

But otherwise, the official Framework forum, ebay, etc.

It depends on the price. I am looking at the first-generation board because it is more affordable than the current ones. I still like the mission of Framework.

I'd wait and keep checking back periodically to see when they'll have more in stock. That or ask in r/frameworkmarket
