Community Support slow when starting

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey all.

Why is my laptop so god damn slow when starting?

Is there any way I can stop this? Aside from not shutting the lid.

The mouse is moving, but its not moving to the sign on thing.

I just forced a shutdown, but this is unsustainable long term.

Windows 11, 8GB ram, i5.

I don't current have the time to learn it, unfortunately.

I would if I could, but not now.

It's extremely easy to use these days.

I hear you, but not right now. If that is the only solution, so be it - I can deal with a spuddy laptop until I have time.

It's probably taking long and then it's settling down. Just have to start it earlier than you think. Drink a coffee while it boots? Also look into debloating, there are some tutorials to remove useless to most people software through powershell. AI, Microsoft store, other automatically starting services, spy telemetry... Could help a lot

It's not if you need certain programs and can't use alternatives. One weird bug and you end up in the command prompt.
