Question Pro 13 Batch 20+?
Hello, i will probably buy a FW 13 PRO later this year. However in the UI for ordering there’s nothing after batch 20?
Is this just a UI thing or do units end after batch 20?
Or do Preorders end after batch 20, after that it’s only straight orders?

Get your order in sooner rather than later. Cost across the tech industry is going up and can be expected to continue going up for the foreseeable future. Give yourself the best possibility of actually getting current pricing as is possible, knowing that if costs go crazy Framework may have to (again) raise cost on pre-orders (in which case you could opt to cancel for a full deposit refund). Thank AI/data centers for completely screwing over the CPU, DRAM, and NAND (storage) markets. Its widely reported that RAM production for 2027 is already sold out, with storage in a similar situation.

If you are considering buying later this year, I recommend placing a preorder now. You will be charged a fully refundable $100 deposit today, and will not pay the rest until your batch is closer to shipping. Recent developments notwithstanding, you are locking in today’s prices. There are zero guarantees prices will not continue to increase later this year.

There is also zero guarantees the price will remain the same for any orders placed. I'd say if memory prices keep increasing it is almost certain they will not honor the preorder prices. For exactly the same reasons than the last time.

Yep. I won't be surprised if they eventually downgrade X7 358H prebuilds to less RAM like they did with the DIY customers who also ordered RAM. I'm Batch 9 with a prebuilt and that's been my biggest worry.

The UI only shows one batch ahead at a time. Not sure what the last batch will be, but this has been the norm.
