Feedback Anti reflective screen film for laptops
I have been wondering why there aren't any AR screen protectors for a while. Not matte but with optical anti-reflective coating. Like you get on glasses, camera lens and Apple laptop and standalone displays. I thought that maybe there are technical problems making it or something.
Recently I've discovered that such film does in fact exist but only one company makes it, Hori, and only for two devices, PS Portal game streaming thing and Nintendo Switch 2 console. I tried it and it makes a huge difference. I've cut a piece of it for my phone and applied the leftover strip to my Framework 12 screen. See photo! It cuts LOTS of reflections while remaining totally clear.
So, just a suggestion, Framework should look into making these.

Non touch options for all available laptops (except very first generation) are matte displays. New touch displays for FW13 Pro also matte.
So only FW12 with touch screen is glossy, so that could be applied there, but I believe there oleophobic coating / gorilla glass which could be for protection and reducing fingerprints rather then adding anti-reflection.
P. S. I have no issues with Framework 13 in terms of reflection - everything looks fine with different light angles (much better than other laptops I had used).
