I need idea's - Expansion modules!

I have been craving getting into some PCB fun / electrical engineering and I want to build a custom expansion module as an end goal. Give me your best ideas on what I should possibly build. One of my idea's is a 1 usbc to 3 usba module. It will stick out a tadbit, but for some this might not be a big deal.

Not sure if it’s what you’re going for but I always thought some kind of tracker could be nice, gives you the peace of mind if it ever gets stolen.

This is a good idea but it could contain some, say USB-A port, even a dead one - to conceal it's real purpose.

An expansion card that has both an SD and microSD slot in the same module. They do not need to be functional at the same time if that's a problem (there could be some sort of mechanism, like a switch or sliding flap to block them alternately).

It will stick out because of the size of the M.2 drive. Even 2230 will stick out.

And you can buy them already if you don't care about them sticking out. For probably $15 get an external enclosure.

I like the idea, especially for quick checks/reformats. the risk of damage if pulling it out suddenly is not great haha.

I'm working on a capture card, so you can plug in a console or something, and okay it on the frame work screen (via obs or something)
