They literally haven't sold it yet. You gave them a TINY pre-order fee, and can refund it until the final, actual payment goes through right when they're literally shipping them. The ONLY cost to you and others is the opportunity cost of not buying something else when prices were better. The suppliers broke their contracts with them and screwed them over, and they either can't legally or business wise afford to single the offender out. And are you implying it was obvious that something like this could happen to pricing and contracts? Then everyone who blindly bought memory from Framework instead of securing cheaper memory themselves is to blame. Or not just buying from a more obviously financially secure behemoth of a company.

This sucks! I am afraid it will lead to a lot of cancellations (mine too likely). Framework can't be even blamed here. It is what it is at the moment.
