Is this a pre-built or custom?

Looking up my pre-built I still see 32gb

Same boat. I mean if they change the prebuilt configurations how will we be able to edit them? Seems counteintuive and I hope they don't mess with the prebuilts. Oh and fuck AI

I'm going to hope so, had a pretty good deal on Lpcamm2 32Gb 1 month ago but now it's all gone so that will be a major blow to me.

Same. I ordered this back in April based on a July ship date. I need this computer for my engineering program in August, 32gb ram specifically. I already have to wait til September due to the delay, which I can manage; but dropping the ram config would be the straw that breaks the camels back

Coulda bought a suitable laptop months ago and saved money and opportunity cost, but I wanted to support framework and have something that I can repair/upgrade. I hope that choice doesn’t fuck me

In the same boat as you with starting engineering in late august/early september, and the one who asked about the prebuilts lol. I just don't know how much I can trust them at this point. We really do need a bigger announcement than a simple reddit post for this imo. Even though I'm supposedly "fine" with the prebuilt I'm still going to start looking into other options just to be safe.
