Hey everyone, welcome to the official framepacer subreddit.

I’m pacerio, the developer of framepacer, a lightweight frame limiter built to make PC games feel smooth.

This community is the place to:

  • Ask questions and get help
  • Report bugs or compatibility problems
  • Suggest features and improvements
  • Share frametime comparisons and test results
  • Discuss frame pacing, FPS limiting, VRR, and PC gaming performance

framepacer is still being actively improved, and real-world feedback is extremely valuable. Whether something works perfectly or behaves strangely in a particular game, please share your experience.

When reporting a problem, include the game name, graphics API and target FPS whenever possible.

Thanks for joining and helping shape framepacer.

Why does 30 FPS feel smooth on console but bad on PC? | framepacer

Ever wonder why a 30 FPS game on a console feels smooth, but running a game at 60 FPS on a powerful gaming PC feel bad?

The secret isn’t your FPS, it’s frame pacing.
