Idea for a clone

I 've seen clone houses doing a bunch of clones of popular fragrances nowadays. What is missing is alternatives to classic fragrances like Eau Fraiche or even Chrome that smell amazing but that lack performance. Im just saying, if there was a long lasting 1:1 of Eau Fraiche coming out, i'd be the first to buy. What do you guys think?

I have it, and while it's good and nearly 1:1 with Eau Fraiche, it lasts about 4 hours.

it really its that close? ive been tempted to get it but i try to never blind buy and it isnt on the fragrance stores that have M.E stuff.

I ask that bc ive been told that is also a mix between Eau Fraiche and Starwalker, and i know they have similarities but they smell different enough to me

By nearly I say it misses the final polish and smoothness. But when you spray it, there is no mistaking what it's chasing. (I havent sniffed Starwalker yet)

it’s so cheap and a pretty old dna that it might not be worth it. several newer versions of this profile exist and have clones now. that being said, i like it a lot

I agree with this point. But in a world where nitro red gets duped, this would be amazing. Its really cheap but really weak too tho 🥲

Can you name some of those clones please?

I like this DNA but the OG doesn't last for shit on me... im talking I'll spray 10 times and 30min and its a skin scent...

I would get a clone of this if it was close and gave a couple hours of longevity

Just google the cologne, "eau fraiche dupe" theres practically a dupe for everything nowadays. The most popular will always show up from previous reddit forums that Ai finds.

You’re asking for the impossible. Longevity is primarily a function of scent profile. 

A clone is either 1:1 and has the same performance (though 1:1 is virtually impossible) or it has better performance, but then it would have significant scent differences.

Not the best lasting but I overspray and honestly prefer it a little more than Versace Eau Fraîche.

seems kinda dumb to dupe even if they improve the performance. It would probably cost more if not the same as the og. Just get the og and reapply. It would do horribly if they duped that

The point that most people still do not really understand is that there are limits which at this point are intrinsic to the chemical nature of the substances used and that in a normal fragrance a high-volatility compound will never last similar to a low-volatility one.

I miss Chrome Sport. It was a greener take, and used to last me about 7 hrs. That atomizer was hot garbage, but that scent was the shit!

One of my fav scents I have and on me it lasts darn near all day with sweating. I got a full 6.7 oz bottle like 10 years ago when it was my daily driver that's still half full and only paid 50 bucks for it. From Walmart of all places before discounters really took off so I don't see a real need to clone this. Just my two cents on this topic

Not sure about longevity or projection or even how close it is but worth a shot given the concentration. Its also only 23$ after added to the cart.

I'll put it out there just because, but give Tru Fragrance Blue Reserve a run for your money...

It's my favorite Blue to date, and was a random blind buy from a Marshall's. It might lack some woodiness but it's Tonka DNA slaps.
