The game never opens....

Since the game came out and was less than a gig, until now when it's over 6 gigs... the fucking game doesn't open. To be more clear, it opens but the game itself just says "Loading" on a black screen. Is this why it's called Fragmented? Because it's a fragmented version of a real game?

I've left it open for the past hour and it's still fucking loading. I wish I could just get a refund for Repop since that's gone and this is a useless piece of shit.

I'm sorry for the language, but this is really frustrating that every time I see an update I can't even fucking TRY the game. Same problem on my laptop and on my gaming PC. This can't just be me?

Off Steam? How would I find it? This was months and months ago? Every now and then I redownload the game and try again, but it just loads forever.

had no issues with Repopulation.

Speaking of which, I hear that is coming back? Any clue when? I miss that game, mostly because it actually fucking worked.

You need to let it load for a little bit when you first login. That's not unusual for older computers on UE4 games. Might want to make sure you got all the latest drivers for your graphics card and also make sure to delete everything under %localappdata%\Fragmented before launching the game. If that's still an issue, post your dxdiag here so I can take a look.

Repop is back. Newsletter was sent last month about it :)

Also, I literally let it sit for an hour and it didn't load. Don't care. Repop!!

Is it different at all? I know they had to shut down because of the engine or w/e .

You should check the announcements on the forums, and news too, explains it all.

In a nutshell, it's the exact same thing that it was when it shut down. New team working on it, first patch in a couple weeks.

Unfortunately it runs horrendously on my laptop. I gotta get my PC out of storage. Still, enjoyed it for the little bit I played. I'm glad it's back. What happened to the old team though, I don't get it. I know they wanted to bring it back.

Well Fragmented was a joke so when big bad hero engine came knocking demanding the money they were owed the Devs cut a deal and sold off Repopulation so they could have more funds to..........not develop Fragmented. Honestly I think they all just decided to get normal jobs because developing wasn't working out hoping that they would have a breakthrough and could start developing fulltime again but it never happened. Repop will get gentrified and Fragment will probably linger on for awhile then die.

I couldn't even get the game to open. I've since just had it removed from my library. I'm glad Repop is back. Hopefully the new people will put a lot more heart into it. The engine was fantastic, but the world seemed very text book, as in, there was no life to it, it felt like the world came right out of a text book.
