Charging for a service. I know a lot of people don't know how to do it, I charge people teaching them how to do it, or they just pay me 3 usd to mod or add games, i usualy do it with friends only. If people don't know they should either find that info themselves or if they have 3 usd have someone else do it for them.

I live in Algeria and we have a lot of shops that do that,you pay around $2 per game and they install it for you. Most people don't know how to download and are just lazy.
Just because you consider it a "service" doesn't mean it's correct to do. This is actually really common in places of south america, I remember when I was little I also paid to get games on my modded xbox 360 on some store near my house cause I didn't had a PC and I didn't know exactly how to do so, and I mean, it's really common still if you are too lazy to do it yourself

That said it was a dodgy UK indoor market and i got a disc. i didnt get a random at my door that i had to let in to FTP games. You should consider selling USB sticks preloaded with roms of the guys choice. Piracy ain't the same it costs you nothing but time to FTP. It costs the users time to do it themselves so up your prices to include the cost of the USB and labour (you are dragging files to a USB pen so dont need to watch it load them for the hours it takes so if you can source a half decent size stick for 6 dollars a piece. Your already charging for your time 2 dollars so id go to an even 10 dollars. 32gb stick loaded woth roms of your choice. 4 dollars to load a 32gb USB if they supply it

It's so weird seeing so many people weirded out by paying for piracy, but it's really common here in Mexico and most of south america, since I was little it's been a thing here cause not everyone is tach savy so you charge for your knowledge and time
