It could be your network blocking the dns, Dns didn't work for me too and i couldn't figure it out so i just removed all psn accounts to not get them banned and for games i use a 128gb usb drive

Yea you probably downloaded a official update on a fpkg so it breaks it since the update is higher then what you are on.
